About The Site - ^Top The site is about anything you want it to be. Post whatever you want. Joining - ^Top To register look on the right side of the page at the menu column. Under the header "Meta" there is the register link. Posting - ^Top If you want to leave a post you must viewing your admin panel. In your admin panel click the "Write" link on the top navigation bar. here are your options in that page. The Center Column • Title - The post title goes here • Post - This is where you will type your post. You have two choices on editing your post 1. The visual tab lets you edit your post in plan text. 2. The code tab lets you edit your post in HTML. • Upload - Allows you to upload pictures to your post • Optional Excerpt - Don't worry about this part • trackbacks - Don't worry about this part • Custom Fields - Here you can add custom fields to the post if you know the coding. The Right Column • Categories - This is what category your post will be shown in. You can pick more than one if you need to. If you need a category added just let Admin Know. • Discussion - You can choose to let people leave comments are not. The point of the site is to communicate and discuss so please try to always allow comments and pings. • Post Password - You can add a password to your post here. • Post Slug - Don't worry about this part • Post Status - Don't worry about this part. • Edit Timestamp. If you want the post to go online at a later time you can put the time and date here, when it gets to the time and date you entered your post will go public. Now that you have all that information set up you will see the three buttons right bellow the "Post" section where you put your post text in. Save and Continue Editing - Saves your document but does not publish it or make it viewable and lets you keep editing it. Save - Saves your document but does not publish it or make it viewable and closes the edit windows so you can edit it at a later date. Publish - This will make your post viewable online and close the editing window. To edit your saved and published post go to the manage link on the top navigation.
